The Virginia General Assembly is where policy is made that affects all the students in the Commonwealth. The Consortium will be involved in direct lobbying efforts to improve policy that benefits the learning community. Our elected officials have to be informed about the existing regulations in the Virginia Code and how new legislation may help or harm the student learner community. We will engage Delegates and Senators on the Education Committee and their colleagues for critical policy votes.
