In 2017, the framework was created for the Virginia Consortium for Educational Improvement as an Unincorporated Association to address educational challenges in the Commonwealth. The Consortium is an umbrella organization that is positioned to implement innovative multidisciplinary solutions for the public educational system. Our collaborative partners perform research and assessment of systemic dynamics that negatively influence the outcomes of student-centered learning and achievement. Our service delivery model is based on ITSM which includes advocacy, consulting, legislation, educational programs, parent engagement, training and development.
The Consortium was founded to transform the education system from existing methods, strategies, and practices designed for the industrial age. Knowledge workers of the 21st century and beyond must receive a program designed for the student learner’s success with true roadmapping, quality assurance, and flexibility built in the plan. Our stakeholders are committed to improving pedagogy, policy, and outcomes for the students in the Commonwealth.
